What Is eSim?

9Mobile eSim Registration

Customers need to go to one of the designated 9Mobile Experience Centers and make a request for eSIM activation in order to get their 9Mobile eSIMs activated.

After the request has been submitted, the customer will be provided with a QR code, which will allow them to scan the code and download the eSIM profile.

In order to download the 9Mobile eSIM profile, you will need to ensure that you are connected to a data network. After that, the costumer can move on to the next step of the standard SIM registration process.

How to Download 9Mobile eSim Profile

By scanning the QR Code that 9Mobile provided for you, you will be able to download the eSIM profile. Remember, you need to be connected to data before you download your profile.

Can I Use My 9Mobile eSim Profile More than Once?

The answer is yes, but while it is being downloaded and installed on a device, it cannot be used. Once the profile has been detached from the device, it is available for subsequent uses. ((9Mobile.com.ng))

Can I Recover My 9Mobile eSim QR Code?

Any one of 9Mobile Experience centers will be able to provide you with the QR code whenever you need it. In order to obtain your QR-code, you will first need to give some kind of identification along with the cell number linked with it.

What Happens if I Misplaced My eSim Device?

Visit one of the 9Mobile Experience centers in your location and ask for the MSISDN to be banned there. If you are able to demonstrate that you have satisfied all of the safety conditions necessary for a SIM swap to be initiated, you will be given direct access to the SIM swapping process.

The procedure for changing to an eSIM does not have any differences like the normal sim cards; however, you will be required to obtain the eSIM profile before making the switch to an eSIM device.

An eSIM exchange will need to be performed for you by one of their Retail Advisors. In this scenario, you will be provided with a physical SIM card. (The entire regular SIM exchange process, including providing confirmation of identity).
