Christian Atsu Biography
Christian Atsu Twasam is a professional football player from southeast coast of Ghana. He was born on January 10, 1992, and plays for Hatayspor in the Turkish Süper Lig and the Ghana national team.
He usually plays on the wing but has also been used as an attacking midfielder. Atsu started his career with Porto and also played for Rio Ave on loan for a season.
Chelsea bought him for £3.5 million in 2013, and they then sent him on loan to Vitesse Arnhem, Everton, AFC Bournemouth, and Málaga.
After playing for Newcastle United on loan during the 2016–17 season, he joined the team for good in May 2017. Atsu has been a full international for Ghana since he made his debut in 2012.

There were conflicting reports about his fate and whereabouts after the earthquake, with some saying he had been rescued, while others denied these claims. As of February 8th, 2023, there was no solid information available about his condition or location.
