Jeff Shell started working in the media industry in 2001 as the President of FOX Cable Network Group. He then became the President of Comcast Programming Group.
In 2019, he was chosen to replace Steve Burke as the CEO of NBCUniversal. Shell took on this position on January 1, 2020, and reported directly to Brian L. Roberts, the CEO of Comcast.
