Kenneth Paul Block (November 21, 1967 – January 2, 2023) was a professional rally driver in the United States for the Hoonigan Racing Division, formerly known as the Monster World Rally Team. Ken Block was also a founding member of DC Shoes.
He also competed in a variety of action sports, such as skateboarding, snowboarding, and motocross. Block altered his business emphasis after selling his ownership of DC Shoes to Hoonigan Industries, an apparel manufacturer for auto fans.
Before his death, he was the company’s co-owner and “Head Hoonigan In Charge” (HHIC). After 11 years, Hoonigan Racing Division and Ford Performance announced their separation in January 2021.

Block participated in the Gumball 3000 Rally in 2005. DC Shoes sponsored three 2004 Subaru WRX STis for the event. Block and Brian Scotto competed in 2006’s One Lap of America. They completed 45th in a 2006 Subaru WRX STi.

On his debut race of 2013, Block scored well, entering the top 10 in the Mexican rally and finishing 7th overall. Castrol re-sponsored Block. He attended Catalonia’s WRC. He was 10th until the last stage, when a flat tire cost him time. It was his second-to-last WRC season.
American Rallycross Competition
From 2011 to 2015, Block raced in the Global RallyCross Championship. He finished second in 2014, third in 2013, and fifth in 2012, with six victories and 15 podiums.
Block returned to full-time competition for the 2018 Americas Rallycross Championship, where he earned two podium finishes and finished fourth in points.
European Rallycross Competition
Ken Block finished third in the Norway round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship and first in the European Rallycross Championship in 2014. Block opted to race full-time in the World Rallycross Championship in 2016.
