With just N500, the young student won big in the Homewin promotion that was going on at the time. He turned his good luck into cash when, on May 1, 2022, he bought a Homewin ticket and won the first-ever Homewin Salary 4 Life prize. He would get 100,000 naira (N100,000) every month for the next ten years. This would add up to 12,000,000 naira (N12,000,000).
But the story of how the young mathematician got his prize was pretty interesting. Around 4:45 p.m. on June 1, 2022, a tough process began to choose the Homewin Salary 4 Life winner. More than 1,000 played tickets were automatically chosen by our system. The tickets were then printed, cut into tiny pieces of paper, and folded by more than 100 office workers.
Then, each staff member was told to pick a folded piece of paper with a unique ticket number on it. Mr. Sijibomi Ogundele, Group Managing Director of Sujimoto and Founder of HomeWin Promo, chose the last paper, which turned out to be the winning ticket for the Homewin Salary for Life.

As luck would have it, he answered the phone, and after talking with the team for a while, he was finally convinced that he had won. He was so happy and excited that he couldn’t hold it in.
The events surrounding getting Oluwadamilare to claim his Salary 4 Life prize really affected many members of our team. We saw firsthand how badly broken Nigerian society has become and how much Nigerians have lost hope and the belief that anyone’s life can change in a second.

Going forward, we congratulated our winner and invited him to the Sujimoto HQ on June 6, 2022, where he met all of the team members and had a one-on-one meeting with the Managing Director of the Sujimoto Group, who not only congratulated him on his win but also promised to keep an eye on his education and make sure he stays a friend of Homewin and the Sujimoto Group as a whole.
