Rihanna — Lift Me Up Lyrics

Rihanna released a new song called “Lift Me Up” on October 28, 2022. It’s from the movie “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” This is her first solo song since her 2016 album “Anti.”

The song is R&B and was written by Rihanna, Nigerian singer Tems, and the film’s director, Ryan Coogler. Ludwig Göransson produced it. Some critics liked Rihanna’s singing, but others found the lyrics and production average.

“Lift Me Up” did well commercially, reaching number one in many countries and top 5 in others. It got nominated for awards like Best Original Song at the Academy Awards and Golden Globes, winning 4 awards, including Best Original Song at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.

The music video, directed by Autumn Durald Arkapaw, features Rihanna on an empty beach with scenes from the “Black Panther” film. She performed the song live for the first time at the 2023 Academy Awards.
