Simon Ekpa, is one of the individual supporting Nnamdi Kanu to get Biafra back. But this name has been questioned more than once, and some critics say that Ifeanyi Njoku is his real name. Simon Ekpa is one of the people pushing the Biafra message with the most force. But Biafra’s supporters didn’t start with him. It started when Col. Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, who has since died, was upset that people from the Southeast were being killed over and over again in the north. He started a breakaway republic.
The Nigerian Civil War, which lasted two and a half years, started because of this. Even though the war is over, people are still calling for a Biafra Republic. Ojukwu lost the war, ran away to Ivory Coast, and didn’t come back until Shehu Shagari gave him a pardon.

Ekpa won a track and field medal while representing Nigeria. At the 2003 African Junior Athletics Championships in Cameroon, he earned a silver medal for Nigeria. He competed for Nigeria in long jump, triple jump, 100 meters, and 60 meters.
Last year, he promised to return the 2003 African Junior Athletics Championships medal he won for the country. The only way forward is to disintegrate Nigeria and restore Biafra. “Anything else doesn’t bring my name,” he remarked.
