In 2019, Uba was elected again as the speaker for the 9th Benue State House of Assembly. The Kyan Constituency includes 6 council areas: Mbadede, Tsambe, Mbajor, Gbagbam, Mbakyaha and Mbagbera.
Terkimbi Ikyange was the former elected speaker of the House of Representatives of benue state, after he was impeached. Titus Uba was re-elected in 2019 after winning a competition against other candidates including the deputy governor. The election took place at Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi.
