Oluwaseun Esther Aiyedatiwa, the spouse of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has been residing in London for the past seven months and has not resumed her duties as the First Lady of Ondo State.

The Society for Women Empowerment (SWE) has given Aiyedatiwa a seven-day ultimatum to publicly apologize to his wife, Oluwaseun, following allegations of domestic violence against him.

Aiyedatiwa has refuted the accusations of domestic violence and assault, dismissing them as unfounded and untrue. He emphasized that Oluwaseun had lived and worked in the United Kingdom for many years before their marriage, urging skepticism towards reports of alleged domestic issues within the family.

In December 2023, Lucky Aiyedatiwa paid a condolence visit to the late Governor Akeredolu’s family.
