Oluwaseun Peter Ogunsakin has emerged as the African U14 boys’ singles Champion after dominating the field at the @ITFTennis & CAT African Junior Championship held in Lome, Togo.
The 14-year-old defeated Ahmed Darmoul of Tunisia 6-2,6-4 in the final played on Tuesday. It was double the joy for Oluwaseun, who had won the warm-up tournament against the same opponent barely a week before.
Oluwaseun has been on the rise since 2018, all thanks to his father and coach, Wumi Ogunsakin – Ekiti State tennis coach.
