Nigerian singer Davido announced on Instagram on March 21, 2023, that he would be releasing his fourth studio album, “Timeless”, on March 31. The announcement came after he took a break from social media to grieve the death of his son.

Davido drew inspiration from the book of Ecclesiastes for the album, which features collaborations with several artists, including Skepta, Angelique Kidjo, and Focalistic. To celebrate the album’s release, he will hold three concerts in New York, London, and Lagos between April 2 and April 5.
The album comprises 17 tracks and includes newly signed artists Morravey and Logos Olori. Before the album’s release, Davido teamed up with Spotify to curate a playlist of Afrobeats tracks that he considers timeless.

“Champion Sound” is the lead single from Davido’s album “Timeless”, released on November 19, 2021. The song features Focalistic and was jointly produced by Caltonic SA and Tee Jay.
