Program Overview

• Duration: 36 months
• Commencement date: April 1, 2024
• End date: March 31, 2027
• Number of Participants: 5

Stipends

• NQF 4 (Matric qualification): R5,003.16 per month
• National Diploma, Bachelors/Honours Degree: R7,043.31 per month
• Master’s Degree: R8,584.36 per month

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum NQF 4 (Matric) / NQF 5 upwards beneficial
• Only first-time participants considered
• Age: 18 to 35 years
• South African citizenship required
• Verification of citizenship, reference checks, and security vetting for all appointments

Application Process

1. Availability: Candidates must be available for selection and interviews.
2. Placement: Participants will be placed within DIRCO at the Head Office in Pretoria.
3. Own Transport: Candidates should have their own transport and accommodation.
4. Foreign Qualifications: Evaluation certificate from SAQA required.
5. Submission: Failure to submit required documents/information will result in application rejection.
6. Timeline: No late applications accepted.

Learnership Details

• Successful candidates must sign an Oath of Secrecy.
• Learners will sign a Learnership Contract/Agreement with the Department.
• Interviews will be conducted online.
