He was born and raised in the neighborhood of Orlando West in the township of Soweto in South Africa. The parts that Mangaliso Ngema played in the popular South African television series Vehicle 19, Mary and Martha, and Lithapo brought him the most recognition as an actor.
Acting Career
Following his graduation from college, he entered the working world and got a job as a brand manager for Guinness. While he was working there, he had his first appearance on television in the 1993 season of the serial opera Generations, in which he portrayed the part of Lunga Zondo.
That was his first role on television. After that, he made an appearance in a variety of well-known episodes of popular television series, some of which are Home Affairs, Housekeepers, MTV Shuga, Ring of Lies, Mzansi, Side Dish, Soul Buddyz, and Single Guyz, among others.
