He rose to prominence in 2004 while working as a radio DJ at Raypower 100.5 FM. Spinall studied at Tenstrings Music Institute and later joined Industry Nite, where he promoted underground talents at a weekly platform. He was Wande Coal’s official DJ during Wande Coal’s affiliation with Mavin Records.
Spinall’s brand and identity, known as TheCAP (TheCrazyAzzParty), reflect his cultural roots and unique style. In April 2021, he transitioned from the stage name DJ Spinall and started an Afromix series on Apple Music.
He also hosted a television show called Smirnoff Infamous Mix on MTV Base and Soundcity TV, along with a podcast series launched on Audiomack and various radio stations in Nigeria. The first episode of Smirnoff Infamous Mix, which aired on April 6, 2021, featured a guest appearance from Wurld.
