Teni, the Nigerian singer, has been associated with three record labels throughout her career. She released her debut single “Amen” while signed to Shizzi’s Magic Fingers Records.
In 2017, she joined Dr. Dolor Entertainment after leaving Shizzi’s Magic Fingers Records. Additionally, she established her own record label, Sugar Mummy Records, and released her sophomore album “Tears of the Sun” under it in 2023.

Teniola Apata, who is better known by her stage name Teni, has left her record label. She told the world on her official Twitter account on Saturday that she was leaving the record label and going it alone.
Teni wrote on Twitter, “I’m free now.” But in the tweet, she only said that she was now an independent artist. She did say that she was working on a new album, which she called “the best album of my life.”

Before joining Dr. Dolor Entertainment in 2017, Teni was signed to Nigerian music producer Shizzi’s Magic Fingers label. She had hits with songs like “Case,” “Uyo Meyo,” and “Fargin” that were put out by Dr. Dolor Entertainment.
