Lisa said in an interview; “My parents used to tell me that before they could put food in my mouth, they had to dance for me to be happy before they put food in my mouth. So, from then, I had a passion for dance,” she said.

Lisa said, “I started dancing when I was in kindergarten.” She went on to say that she kept dancing and later went to dance class to improve her moves.

She said, “I started taking dance classes at DWP Academy, so when I have money and I’m in school, I don’t spend it.” When I get home, I spend that money on dance class and on myself “.

The Entertainment Prefect in SHS said, “It won’t affect my studies because I am a very smart girl.” She also said, “I am still in school. I am in Level 100 at the University of Ghana in 2021.” “In SHS it was easy because you were a boarder and couldn’t go home to dance. I dance when I’m on vacation,” she said.

Even though she had heard stories about how hard it was to get and keep a good GPA in Tertiary institutions, Lisa says that after just a few months at the best university in Ghana, she has found that it is not hard at all, so “more dancing for the corner there.”

“When I got to Legon, I decided to look at my surroundings so I could figure out how to bring the two together (learning with dancing). Now that I know college isn’t that hard, I go to dance class and still have time to study “.

Education Background

Quama is a student who went to high school in Ghana and is now studying at the University of Ghana for a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She wants to become a Chartered Accountant and enjoys dancing as well.
